Our Privacy Commitment

apa-citation.com is designed as a stateless, privacy-first tool. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data or citation data.

What We Do NOT Collect

• No citations or reference lists are stored on our servers
• No user accounts or login data
• No tracking pixels or behavioral advertising
• No cookies beyond what Bootstrap may set

How the Tool Works

All citation generation happens in your browser via JavaScript. When you paste a URL, DOI, or ISBN for auto-fill, a request is made to our server-side fetch script which queries public APIs (CrossRef, Open Library) and returns metadata. No data from these requests is logged or stored.

Third-Party Services

• Google Fonts: Loaded from Google CDN. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Bootstrap / jsPDF / SortableJS: Loaded from jsDelivr CDN. No personal data collected.
• Google AdSense: May serve ads using anonymized interest signals. See Google Privacy Policy.
